Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni’s house in Noida was attacked by a bunch of thieves. It is reported an LCD Television has been stolen from the wicketkeeper-batsman house. The theft attack was done in the early hours of Sunday. According to Hindustan Times, the police has informed that the house is rented to Vikram, who is renovating the home.
According to police, the incident came forward when the caretaker of the house noticed that the LCD TV was missing. There was three packed LCD TV but one was stolen by the thieves.
Dhoni is currently leading Chennai Super Kings.
“There were three packed LCD televisions in the house and one of them was on Sunday. Singh, who has taken the property on rent, informed us about the missing LCD television. They gave us the application and we have now registered an FIR in the matter,” Prashant Kapil, station house officer, Sector 39 police station, was quoted as saying in the report.
The theft took place at Dhoni’s place in Sector 104 which is generally a residential area. However, the station house officer stated that it has nothing to do with MS Dhoni as the house is rented.
“The case has nothing to do with Dhoni as the house was given on rent to Singh,” Kapil said.
Meanwhile, Vikram Singh had informed the police about the robbery on Monday but no formal complaint was written. In fact, the complaint was registered on Tuesday evening. Furthermore, Vikram has revealed that a helper is missing since the robbery has taken place.
“Singh told us that a helper has been missing since the theft has taken place. We are looking for him and soon he will be arrested. There was renovation work going on, so one of the people who was working there must have stolen the TV,” the officer said.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is currently leading Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2019. Chennai has already qualified for the playoff stages and they are currently placed at the second position in the points table.
On the other hand, MS Dhoni has been in fine form in the ongoing season. Dhoni has scored 314 runs in seven innings at a Bradmanesque average of 104.57. The talisman will like to continue his good form going in the forthcoming World Cup.
