Well, here comes the third team to be knocked out from the Indian Premier League 2019. The visitors Rajasthan Royals were never in the game, as Delhi Capitals thoroughly dominated things for the team. Ishant Sharma, Amit Mishra were the stars with the ball while Rishabh Pant batted sensibly to shoulder the team to victory.
Getting into the details, initially, it was Rajasthan Royals, who won the toss, elected to bat first. But, things never looked in control for them, as Rahane and Livingstone walked back quickly to make things look bleak for the team. He was quickly followed by Sanju Samson as well.
Bowlers delivered the goods:
Surprisingly, Rajasthan Royals sent Shreyas Gopal in the middle order but it never worked in favour, as he couldn’t deliver the goods. Meanwhile, Riyan Parag played a blistering knock on a surface, which was tough to bat on.

He single-handedly helped his side to put a decent total on the board. If not his half-century, it would have been worse for Rajasthan Royals in the middle overs. In the end, all they managed was 115 runs on the board. Ishant Sharma and Amit Mishra picked three wickets to their name.
In reply to the chase, Shaw and Shikhar started things off in a flash. However, the double-wicket over from Ish Sodhi changed things dramatically. However, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant changed the complexion of the game with their brilliant striking in the middle.

During the course, Shreyas Iyer gave a dolly of the catches at long on to Liam Livingstone of Shreyas Gopal. Despite the loss of skipper wicket, Rishabh Pant delivered the goods in the middle with his hard hitting.
Just when things looked in control for Delhi, Ish Sodhi once again delivered the goods by removing Colin Ingram in the middle overs. However, Rishabh Pant finished things in style.`

Delhi has laced up to the second spot on the points table. If Mumbai wins their last league game, they'd be second instead.#DCvRR

Riyan Parag has been super impressive. Maturity belies his age. And it’s baffling how #RR struggled to find a higher batting slot for him….even in the absence of Buttler and Smith. #DCvRR #IPL
