The 2016 Vivo IPL auction started today in Bangalore. This is the ninth edition of IPL. This time two new teams-Pune and Gujarat- came on the foray of world’s biggest cricket league along with six other franchise.
Total 351 players will be auctioned today. 230 Indian players and but only 116 will be taken

Pawan Nego has become the second most expensive player of 2016 IPL auction. He sold for 8.5 crore which is better than Yuvraj and smaller than Shane Watson, who was bought by RCB for 9.50 crores.
Now time for U 19 players. Ishan Kishan is the first U 19 player to be auctioned. He goes to Gujarat Lions for 35 lacks. The highest priced U19 player is Rishav Pant
