The upcoming 10-team ICC World Cup 2019 is going to have a whopping 10 Million Dollars Prize Pool. The tournament, which is set to be played in England will see the teams across the globe fighting for the trophy, which will give them a massive 4 Million Dollars in their bank account.
On Friday, the International Cricket Council has announced the prizes for the winner of the tournament and also for the various other aspects of the tournament. As mentioned above the winner will be getting 4 Million dollars while the runner-up will get half of the winner prize.
It means that the runner-up would get 2 Million Dollars. The comes to the third stage, which means the semifinals of the tournament. The losing teams of the semifinals will collect 8,00,000 dollars each. For the first time in the history of the tournament, they announced a massive winning prize.

With the round-robin league set to be executed, they want to make every game so exciting. For the sake of that, they announced prize money for every match. The winner of each match in the league stage would get 40,000 Dollars,
The six teams which will past the league stage to enter into the next phase of the tournament will get the cash prize of 1 Lakh Dollars from International Cricket Council. All in all, it seems like the ICC board have made enough announcements to give a push for the teams to go for it.
