Who would have expected Wahab Riaz would head into the ICC World Cup 2019 playing for Pakistan? Much to the same, the recent reports of Mohammad Amir being down with Chickenpox and the statements from selectors also made fans believe that the return of Amir looks bleak for the ICC World Cup 2019.
However, sorting out all the ways, the selection panel headed by Inzamam Ul Haq brought the duo into the action for the major event. He cited that the experience of Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz will help Pakistan team to do well in the crunch situations of the game.
Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz are experienced bowlers:
Apart from that, they also highlighted the flat pitches, which are on offer by the England board for the ICC World Cup. And also, they understand that it is the matter of experience which works in the flat pitches rather than going with the youngsters.

Meanwhile, Wahab Riaz selection for the World Cup is something that none would have ever expected. However, he got a few technical things on his side and a couple of crucial aspects, which helped him to get the spot.
Meanwhile, Riaz would thank himself for his stint with the county team, which given him enough experience to understand the flat pitches of England. Further, he was Pakistan’s best bowler during the previous ICC World Cup, which would have also made them go with him.

Speaking of the selection, Inzamam quoted saying ”The bowling unit during the England ODI has not clicked as anticipated or expected. And also, if we have at our disposal two vastly experienced pace duo of Amir and Wahab, then it will be foolish not to include them.”
Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for the Pakistan team in the ICC World Cup 2019. Now, the rest is in the hands of Amir and Wahab Riaz to prove their credentials.
Here are they:
Mohammad Amir has made his way to the 2019 World Cup squad. Alongside, pacer Wahab Riaz has also been picked by the PCB. Finally, there would be some competition at the mega event.#WorldCup2019

It is hilarious that Mohammad Amir who has been awful lately- was never part of the WC squad to begin with and didn’t get a chance to prove himself in the England series has somehow managed to secure a spot for the World Cup- based on what exactly- THE ONE FREAKING CT17 SPELL???

Congratulations Mohammad Amir and Bran Stark for getting the valuable positions. Both of you didn't do much to achieve it but your contemporaries screwed it all up.
Good to see Asif Ali in. I hope this World Cup squad brings the glory.
