The link between Bollywood and Cricket dates back to the 1970s, and it has continued since then. From MAK Pataudi to India skipper Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan, the connection is not something new. Going by the reports, talented Indian opener, KL Rahul is likely to be the latest addition to the long list.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time KL Rahul’s name has been linked with Bollywood celebrities. Earlier Rahul was seen with actress Nidhhi Agarwal which sent the rumour mills into a tizzy. Social media was flooded with pictures of the duo together with many reports claiming that the two were dating. However, both of the denied the reports calling each other just friends.
In the latest report in SpotBoye, KL Rahul and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor went to offer prayers in Mount Mary Church, Mumbai before Rahul left for England on May 22. The duo has been apparently visiting together in all the places from dinners to movie dates to family meetings. If reports are accurate, Akansha can tour to London to cheer for her favourite boy from the stands.
Although they didn’t have any picture to stamp their claim, it’s hard to ignore the report since this is not the first time when Akansha’s name has been taken with KL Rahul. In April this year, she had put a sweet picture with the batsman and her actor-friend Athiya Shetty on her Instagram account.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul has been in good form in the IPL and will look to keep up the good work when India begin their World Cup campaign on June 5 against South Africa at Southampton. Rahul is likely to bat at four ahead of the Vijay Shankar whose selection created a lot of buzz in the country.
