As the cricket world run in the build up to World T20 2016, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the match timings and schedule of the ICC World T20 scheduled in eight cities of India from 8 March to 3 April.

MS Dhoni led India will play two warm matches against West Indies and South Africa on March 10 and 12 respectively Eden Gardens and Wankhede Stadium. Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Australia will play warm up the matches at Eden Gardens, where the tournament final will be held on April 3.

All the matches will take place in afternoon and evenings while the semifinals and finals will be held at evenings. The timing of the afternoon matches is 3 pm and evenings is 7 pm.

The women’s matches will also start from 3 pm and 7 pm while the semifinals and finals will start at 2 pm as the matches will be held at same venues of men.

Meanwhile, the ICC has also announced the schedule of the warm-up matches. Teams taking part in the first round will play their warm-up matches in Dharamshala and Mohali from 3-6 March while sides featuring in the second round will play warm-up matches in Kolkata and Mumbai from 10-15 March.

The women’s warm-up matches will take place in Bengaluru and Chennai from 10-14 March.

*If Afghanistan, Hong Kong or Oman reach the second round of the Asia Cup, then their warm-up matches will be rescheduled accordingly.
