The ICC World Cup 2019 fever has taken a firm grip all over the globe, and the football star can’t be kept out of it. Recently, Germany and Bayern Munich legend Thomas Muller wished luck to the Indian National Cricket Team for the cricket’s biggest extravaganza. And now, India skipper Virat Kohli has replied thanking Muller for his message.

The Men in Blues have come to London as one of the favourites to win the trophy. However, they had a poor start losing to New Zealand in the first warm-up game. But they bounced back soon against Bangladesh in the second and last practice match. They played thoroughly well and dominated the game. Moreover, the fine form and KL Rahul and MS Dhoni – both scored centuries, will keep India’s middle-order in high stead, which looked a little bit wobbly leading to the World Cup. Moreover. India’s chances will also depend on how Virat Kohli fare up in the tournament.

As they prepare to get on the field on June 5 against South Africa, Thomas Muller has extended luck to all the team participating in the ICC World Cup. However, Muller said that he will be rooting for Virat Kohli-led India team in the upcoming tournament. Kohli has time and again expressed his love for the Germany football team.

“I wish all participants of the Cricket #WorldCup2019 good luck & thrilling matches. Especially I cross my fingers for @imVkohli, the captain of the Indian team. He`s a fan of @DFB_Team and supported it multiple times in the past,” Muller wrote on Twitter.

Soon after the message, Virat Kohli amidst his busy schedule, took to Twitter to thank Thomas Muller for extending his support to the Indian Team.

 

“Thank you Thomas! ?,” Virat Kohli replied.
