The Virat Kohli-led side completely outsmarted South Africa in all sections of the game to seal the first point in the tournament. The stunning knock from Rohit Sharma and the brilliant spell from Yuzvendra Chahal sealed it for the Indian team. Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc sheds light on facing the Indian team.

In reply to the moderate chase, the Indian team lost Shikhar Dhawan early in the innings while the wicket of Virat Kohli was the second one. However, the vice-captain Rohit Sharma stood tall in the middle to hand a sweet victory for the team.

India got the depth alongside Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma:

Speaking of the Indian batting, Mitchell Starc quoted that the bowling section of Australia is wary of India’s batting lineup. Further, he expressed that his bowling group will look after the plans to contain India’s run machine Virat Kohli and the vice-captain Rohit Sharma, who already registered a century.

“They’ve got depth in their batting, they’re strong throughout. Virat is obviously one of their key batsmen. Rohit scored a hundred, as well, so we’ll have a chat about them as a bowling group, but at the same time we’ve got to remember what we can control, and that’s – I guess that’s our strengths and where we want to bowl to the conditions, as well,” Starc said.

Conditions make the difference – Mitchell Starc

Despite highlighting the presence of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the opposition ranks, Mitchell Starc mentioned the importance of bowling as per the conditions.

“Look, it’s different conditions again. We’re playing at The Oval. I guess taking a little bit out of how they played against South Africa yesterday; they played pretty well. I didn’t see too much of their batting. I watched their bowling.”

Well, it would be a scintiallting contest between the bat and the ball when Australia meets the Indian National Cricket Team. Australia got their fast bowler Mitchell Starc make the ball talk and also found the perfect balance to the team.

In between, the Indian team has been at their best in the game against South Africa. They would like to repeat a similar performance against the Australian team as well.
