Further three T20 matches are scheduled between New Zealand and Australia that are to be held across the Tasman. The matches will take place during late March next year. The Kiwis will also be touring Australia for a three-domain test series in December and January. Following this, they will be facing each other again for a trio of 50-over matches in Sydney and Hobart in mid-March 2020.
Adding to their busy schedule, the Aussies will head to India for ODI series on January 14, 17 and 19. And following this, Australia’s star players will head home for the climax of KFC BBL season. However, Big Bash League‘s fixture is not yet confirmed but it’s expected to conclude in mid-February.
Australia to have a busy start of the year prior to T20 World Cup.

The first match of the three-T20 matches will be held on March 24. It will be hosted by the University of Otago Oval in Dunedin. Following this, the second match will be held at Eden Park in Auckland and the third at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. The series will end on 29 March.
Meanwhile, Australia will also have three T20s and three ODIs in South Africa from February 21 to March 7. And before heading to Tasman, they will face the Black Caps for ODI series from March 13-20. It means Australia’s limited overs players face a busy start to 2020 that will see them play 15 matches in four countries in two-and-a-half months.
On the other hand, the Australian star players will have a busy year with a total of 12 T20 matches scheduled. This also means they’ll have enough practice in the T20 cricket prior to the T20 World Cup scheduled on home soil in October and November next year.
