It was an off-day for the cricket fanatics on the other day. The rain has taken away the game from ICC World Cup 2019, which saw Pakistan Cricket Team and Sri Lankan team taking each point. Meanwhile, in the post-match press conference, Sarfraz Ahmed makes his voice on the next game, which is against Australia.

After a tumble against Windies team in the first game of the tournament, Pakistan showed their brilliance by outsmarting England team in their second game. However, the washout against Sri Lanka saw them standing in the points table with three points in their kitty.

It was unfortunate – Sarfraz Ahmed

Speaking of the washout, the skipper of Pakistan quoted that the team is disappointed to not play the game against Sri Lanka. He feels that the entire team is in high spirits after the win against England and expressed his confidence in winning 2 points if the game was played.

“Our next match is against Australia. Every team is scared about Pakistan.Like other teams in the tournament they are also a tough opponent and they also have momentum as they have won their first two matches.”

It was the first game to be washed out in the tournament. Now, both the teams have got one loss, one win and one abandoned game in their kitty. For the second time in the tournament, Rain arrived in the game where Sri Lanka is involved.

Meanwhile, as Sarfraz Ahmed said, every team would be scared of Pakistan, as they are highly unpredictable. It would be really intriguing to see which Pakistan will be playing against Australia. Is that the team which was defeated by Windies or Is that the team which defeated the title favourites England?
