All in all, India has decimated Pakistan at the Old Trafford in Pakistan by 89 runs. The lopsided result came following the introduction of the Duckworth Lewis method. On Sunday (June 16), the Men in Blue post 336 for five on board. Rampant in approach, Rohit Sharma recorded a fine 140 off just 113 deliveries. Equally, KL Rahul, who came at Shikhar Dhawan’s expense played a cautious knock off 57, as skipper himself Virat Kohli upped the ante with 65-ball 77.

Well, during Pakistan’s innings Hardik Pandya further burst into laughter. It plainly indicated how Pakistan has had performed against the Men in Blue at the mega-events.

The incident took place in the 29th over when Pakistan was reeling at 132 for five in 28.1 overs. With Sarfraz batting on two off eight balls, when Hardik mocked Sarfraz, who got the ball on a shoulder of his bat following a sharp bouncer from Pandya.

Pandya, who had his tail up after dismissing Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik in two consecutive deliveries, teases Sarfraz, who somewhat avoid getting hit right on his chest.

The exciting medium pacer Pandya got better this time against Sarfraz. Hardik’s steep bouncer has left Sarfraz in an awkward position after the latter came forward to offer a stroke on the off. But, at the same time, found it quite difficult to control the ball.

As soon as Hardik realised that Sarfraz was taken aback, the former wore a smile before offering a gesture with his right hand.

The right-handed batsman Sarfraz himself struggled at the crease. He faced 30 balls for his 12 before inside edge on the bowling of Vijay Shankar cut his innings short.

In the match no.22, the Men in Blue’s bowlers bowled to perfection. Shankar and Kuldeep Yadav have also done their job immaculately.

Fakhar Zaman shared a 104-run stand for the second-wicket with Babar Azam before Indian bowlers spoiled their party.

Unpredictable Pakistan went on to lose four wickets in the space of 12 runs. And, it included successive wickets of Hafeez and Malik, who got out on a golden duck.

Thus, Pakistan managed 212 for six in the rain-hit game as the target got revised to 302 in 40 overs.
