Despite the media reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has quoted that are no rifts between the players in the team. After the news of Inzamam-ul-Haq heading to England news surface in the media, the board itself took their time to rubbish all the reports that claimed the groupings in the team.
The Pakistan-based news channel claimed that some players have lodged a complaint with the PCB about the behaviour of Arthur. Further, insisted that they were not going to accept the South African dominating proceedings.

They also alleged that some players are not on talking terms with the coach. The PCB said that Inzamam’s departure for England was delayed due to office procedures. Further, they added that it had been decided beforehand regarding his departure to England.
It is sad to see such stories –
Interestingly, in Pakistan cricket, the pattern has been that the selection committee picks up the touring squad. And, then a tour selection committee, including the captain, coach and at times the manager, settles the playing XI before every match.

“It is sad because our team needs all the support it can get right now. That is why the board Chairman called up captain Sarfaraz (Ahmed) and encouraged him. Every time we do badly, such stories and speculations come out. When Pakistan won against England, there was no mention of rifts and problems and it has now started,” said the official.
Well, everything isn’t going in the right plan for the Pakistan Cricket Team. Ever since they lost the games against Australia and India, they have been under the pump and a lot of headlines have already made on their campaign in the ongoing tournament.
Hopefully, they will make a good return to the tournament after the break. Now, they can’t afford to lose even a single game in order to stay in the hunt for the final four spots.
