As many as three guests have been officially warned for breaching the privacy of Team India’s players in Edgbaston. The team members had earlier complained about the breach of their privacy following an inappropriate from the guests staying at the same hotel. With Men in Blue partaking in the 38th match of the ICC World Cup 2019 against England, the fans are optimistic about another grand show.

Concurrently, with the 15-day window set by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the players are with their families in the United Kingdom (UK).

The incident unfolded ahead of India’s game against England in Birmingham when the guests without any permission whatsoever were clicking pictures of the players, including their family members.

Reports suggested that all three guests staying at the Hyatt Regency are from India. Soon after a complaint from Team India, the hotel staff had warned the guests to behave or otherwise they have to vacate the hotel.

Meanwhile, India has been in stupendous form in the twelfth edition of the ICC World Cup 2019. They’re unbeaten at the event with five wins in six matches. With India sitting second on current World Cup standings, they’re left to chase 338 in 50 allotted overs.

Earlier, Eoin Morgan decided to bat past on a featherbed. The English openers; Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow 111 (109) rode their luck before the latter slammed his first-ever World Cup ton. On the other hand, Roy on his return following a hamstring tear, scored 66 off 57 deliveries.

At the fag end of England’s innings, Stokes blasted 54-ball 79. In his innings, Stokes struck six fours and three sixes with Jos Buttler facing eight balls for his 20.

Now, India would need 338 to make it to the semi-finals of the ODI showpiece.

Apart from the ongoing game, India has two matches to play in the league stage fixtures of the quadrennial World Cup.
