For quite a few years, the stylish southpaw Yuvraj Singh has been the consistent number 4 batsman for the team. After his ouster from the team, the Indian team hardly got a settled number 4 batsman, which troubled Indians on quite a few occasions. Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh believes Rishabh Pant is the man for India at number 4.
Pant had replaced the injured Vijay Shankar in the playing XI for India and made an impact straightaway in his first World Cup game even though it came in a lost cause as the Men in Blue fell 31 runs short of the 337 total posted by England after electing to bat first in Birmingham.
Let’s groom Rishabh Pant for future – Yuvraj Singh
Once again, he repeated the show for India in the game against Bangladesh. During his stay at the crease, Rishabh Pant smashed Bangladesh bowlers to all corners of the park before being dismissed to Shakib Al Hasan.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh, who was active on social media during the course of the game, quoted that Rishabh Pant has got the goods to deliver for the team at number 4. He believes that Pant is going to be the man for India and needs to get groomed to reap rich rewards from him.
His tweet read ”I think finally we have found our no 4 batsman for the future ! Let’s groom him properly yeah !”

Rishabh Pant scored 48:
Coming to the game against Bangladesh, India got a solid start with KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma going bonkers in the middle. Rohit Sharma, in particular, thrashed Bangladesh bowlers to all corners of the park to get his 4th century of the tournament.
Just when things looked good for India, Rohit Sharma was dismissed by Soumya Sarkar. However, Rishabh Pant ensured India to bag runs at a similar run-rate. Unfortunately, he lost his wicket just a couple of runs away from his half-century.
