Of late, Social media has become a major problem for a few celebrities, who are having a tough time in their respective careers. The latest to be the victim of those trolls is Ambati Rayudu, who was ignored by the Indian board while naming a replacement for the second time in the Indian team.
Ambati Rayudu, Rishabh Pant was gutted after being left out of India’s World Cup 2019 squad on April 15. A little over 2 months later, Pant has replaced an injured Shikhar Dhawan in the team. However, the door was once again opened when Shankar picked up an injury. But, all of a sudden, Mayank Agarwal got the nod to travel to England.
Ambati Rayudu, who criticised the selectors for not picking him in India’s World Cup squad, was not called up even following injuries to Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar, with Rishabh Pant and Mayank Agarwal selected instead of him.

And now, Iceland Cricket has offered Rayudu permanent residency in their country. So that he can play for them after being rejected time and again by Team India.
On Tuesday, Iceland Cricket put out a tongue-in-cheek tweet. They wrote how Mayank, who is the latest member to join the Indian team in England, has only three professional wickets at 72.33 and that Rayudu could play for them instead.
Agarwal has three professional wickets at 72.33 so at least @RayuduAmbati can put away his 3D glasses now. He will only need normal glasses to read the document we have prepared for him. Come join us Ambati. We love the Rayudu things. #BANvIND #INDvBAN #CWC19 pic.twitter.com/L6XAefKWHw

Iceland Cricket had earlier come under the scanner for taking a scouring jibe at Afghanistan’s wrist-spinner Rashid Khan. After he was decimated by England captain Eoin Morgan in his record-breaking innings at the World Cup showdown between the two countries.
For the last 12 months, Ambati Rayudu had plied his trade regularly for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Indian Premier League (IPL) for the past couple of seasons. He was tipped to be the problem solver for India’s No. 4 conundrum in white-ball cricket.
The stylish Indian batsman had received selectors’ backing for more than a year before emerging talents Vijay Shankar, Rishabh Pant stepped on the Indian cricket scenario.
