Australian all-rounder Shane Watson has signed a contract with Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise Khulna Titans. The veteran cricketer had plied his trade for the Mahmudullah Riyad-led side for the complete season of BPL 2019-20.

Thus, Watson has become one of their two foreign signings for the domestic professional Twenty20 league.

The muscular all-rounder has been the part of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL). In the Big Bash League (BBL), Watson had represented Syndey Thunder and had played an imperative role in the previous edition.

The prominent all-rounder had led Thunder from the front. In 42 matches, Watson had accumulated 1058 runs. He also has 20 wickets under his belt.

Although Watson might have bid his adieu to the BPL, he is happy to feature in other leagues of the professional T20 leagues.

The coaching and management team at the Khulna Titans are putting together an amazing squad. So, hopefully, we can bring home that title that we have always been looking for,” Watson said in a BPL release.
