Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman has inked a four-year deal with WWE. The news was confirmed by Strowman himself, who took to Instagram to give an update regarding it. Here is Strowman’s post –

Strowman had made his main roster debut in 2015, as a member of Wyatt family, when he attacked Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. However, WWE’s draft in 2016 saw the members of the Wyatt family going to different brands. He remained to be a heel at the start of his career but became a babyface in 2018. He turned heel and became babyface on occasions.

However, since 2018, his monstrous persona has not been seen and he remains to be one of the faces among others despite being strongly built.

Strowman got the biggest push in 2018 when he was slated to face Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown. Jewel After Reigns had to withdraw from the match, Strowman became the favourite to defeat Lesnar for the championship but for an interruption from Baron Corbin.

He later got injured and missed out on action for a few weeks. At WWE TLC in December, Strowman defeated Corbin to take revenge. This also saw Corbin being removed as General Manager of Monday Night Raw.

Despite being one of the top faces, Strowan hasn’t got a big title opportunity this year but as per reports, he is set for a grand push in the time to come. He was a part of the 10-man Battle Royal on Raw this week to determine Brock Lesnar’s opponent for SummerSlam but lost.

It remains to be seen when he will get the much-deserved push, now when he has inked a long deal with the company.

From WWE’s point of view, it comes as a big relief to them, given the number of superstars who have left the company to join AEW in recent months. Strowman is a popular face and would have been a marquee signing for any other brand but he stayed loyal to WWE.

In the month of May, Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose) had joined AEW after leaving WWE. He remains to be one of the biggest signings for AEW.
