Rajasthan Royals Coach, Amol Muzumdar, praises England cricketer Ben Stokes for his performance against Australia in Ashes 2019. The whole world is gaging over Ben stokes stunning performance and the way he played. He single-handedly made England win the Headingley Test match. That victory equalled the ongoing Ashes 2019 by 1-1 after the first three games.

To reach this height, a player has to give his sweat, train himself and go under the process. Amol Muzumdar, Rajasthan Royals Coach, shared that during IPL he was amazed how Ben Stokes trained.

“We spent a lot of time together this IPL season. I’ve seen many cricketers, but I’ve never seen anyone working as hard at his game than Stokes. His work ethics are unbelievable. When a player has that kind of a work ethic, the job of a coach becomes much easier,” Muzumdar told Times of India.

Ben Stokes in the Practice session during IPL

Amol Muzumdar was very impressed by his practice session and said that he would manage to practice even there was a tight schedule during IPL.

“He would bat for a couple of hours in the nets. There would be times when he would tell me to keep throwing the ball at him, which I didn’t mind! In every training session, he would request me to ‘push’ him a bit harder. After that, he would bowl for around 45 minutes, and that too at full tilt. There’s nothing called a ‘half-hearted’ effort with Stokes. either he’s there, or you will not find him. In the end, he would practice his fielding skills, and that too for an hour! In fielding sessions too, if you gave him an easy catch, he wouldn’t appreciate it!” Muzumdar elaborated the practice session of Ben Stokes.

Ben Stokes is in the second number of ICC Test all-rounder ranking. The 28-year-old is the bright future of the England team. His batting in the World Cup will also be remembered.
