Sri Lanka had last toured India in 2017 where they had lost all the three formats series. The visitors had lost the ODI series by 2-1 and had also gone down in the T20I series by 2-0. Hence, the tourists will aim to make a stronger comeback in India.

Meanwhile, India next assignment is three-match Test series against South Africa. The T20I series against the Proteas ended 1-1 after the first match was abandoned due to rain. India also had a successful tour of the West Indies where they won every series. India was able to win the Test series 2-0, ODI series 2-0 and the T20I series 3-0. Thus, India will like to continue their domination in home conditions.
