How would the head coach be able to watch first-class players with his own eyes – Mohammad Yousuf

Mohammad Yousuf opined that if Misbah will be with the national team then how he will select the talent from domestic cricket. He commented that he will have to rely only on the scorecard and this will not be justice to the players.

“The head coach will be with the national team then how would he be able to watch first-class players with his own eyes, The chief selector will have to rule based on scorecards or through what the provincial coaches feed him. So if provincial coaches have to do all the work then what was the need of a chief selector” as quoted by Geo TV.

Yousuf also further added that he thinks Waqar Younis was the deserving candidate for Head Coach. He is disappointed and also surprised how Younis settled for the bowling coach job.
