Bollywood star Anushka Sharma, wife of the Indian captain, has broken her silence on being trolled and accused falsely. She posted a long post on social media where she wrote about all the accusation held on her for being the wife of the captain of Indian national cricket team. Anushka’s reaction came after the former India wicketkeeper Farokh Engineer recently commented on her.

Farokh engineer showed his anger on the selection committee led by MSK Prasad. He questioned the credibility of the selectors. He also commented that selectors were serving tea to Anushka Sharma in the ICC World Cup 2019. His controversial comment broke out the fire on social media.

After which, Anushka Sharma answered Engineer’s comment on Twitter. She has opined that everyone is free to comment on the selectors but doesn’t involve her in all the talks. At the end of her post, she added that she drinks coffee, not tea.

“The latest version of these ill-intended lies is that I was being served tea by selectors at matches during the World Cup! I came to one game during the World Cup and sat in the family box and not the selector’s box as reported but when has the truth mattered when it’s about convenience!”

“If you want to have a comment on the selection committee and their qualifications please do so as it’s your opinion but don’t drag my name into it to substantiate your claim or sensationalise your opinion. I refuse to allow anyone from using my name in such conversations,” Anushka wrote in the lengthy post on her social media accounts.

Her comment that she drinks coffee invited more trollers. But her post had no effect as some appreciated her but some trolled her.
