The Indian national cricket team is set for its next assignment against Bangladesh. The squad have been announced for the three-match T20I series and Two-match Test series. Indian captain Virat Kohli will not play the T20I series as he has been given rest. His absence doesn’t concern the Bangladesh national cricket team as Liton das opined that Kohli was playing or not didn’t matters.
The T20I series will start from 3rd November and will be played at Arun Jaitely Stadium. Rohit Sharma is handed over the duty of captaincy in the T20I series in the absence of Virat Kohli.
On Thursday after the practice session, Liton Das talked about Virat Kohli’s absence. He expressed that the Indian team has many good players and Kohli’s absence will not affect their performance.

“It doesn’t really matter whether Kohli is playing or not honestly,” said Liton Das after Bangladesh’s first practice session on Thursday.
“If he has decided to rest, there must be a reason, we are not concerned about that. Every player has his own body to look after to. And it’s not like India are weak in his absence. They have a lot of good players on their team.” Liton said.
We are short of our most experienced players: Liton Das
The Bangladesh squad, which is announced for India tour, doesn’t have their key players. Shakib Al Hassan, the Test and T20I captain of Bangladesh team, has been banned by ICC as he failed to inform a corrupt approach to ACU. Tamim Iqbal has made himself unavailable as his wife is expecting the second child. Liton Das agrees that they are missing with experienced players in the India tour.
“We are short of our most experienced players from this series. So ultimately we have to play with what we have,” Liton added.
Bangladesh has not won a T20I match against India. Both the teams have played 8 T20I matches. India has won all the matches. This time the visitors are touring with the less experienced players and it will be interesting to see their performance.
