The Mumbai T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav is confident that he will get the chance to play for the country this year. The middle-order batsman has given an impressive performance in the ongoing domestic season. Earlier, Harbhajan Singh also praised the efforts of the player.
SuryaKumar’s consistence performance
The Mumbai player was impactful in Deopdhar Trophy 2019/20. He scored 72* runs in just 29 balls which included 4 sixes and 9 fours.

In the ongoing domestic T20 tournament, he has scored two half-centuries. Under his captaincy, Mumbai won all the four matches played against Mizoram, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Puducherry.
Talking to ESPNCricinfo, he talked about Harbhajan Singh‘s tweet and opined that the former cricketer always motivated him to do the best.

“Knowing he tweeted, I was really happy. I called him and told him, ‘Thank you so much Bhajju pa for tweeting for me. It means a lot that you tweeted’. He keeps motivating me, keeps pushing me because he feels I’m not doing justice to my talent. And that’s good, there have to be a few people who keep doing this for you.”
Suryakumar Yadav is confident
The player has seen many ups and downs in his career. He started playing domestic level cricket in 2010 and in his initial stages he was best. But as time flew, he lost his shine but he didn’t lose his hopes. The 29-year old made a strong comeback and was chosen by Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL.

Suryakumar Yadav has not lost the hopes as he detects that he will surely get the chance to play in the Indian team.
“I always feel some things in life are not in our hands. If you think only about ‘I have to play for India’, it puts unnecessary pressure on yourself. Of course, I have been thinking that I’m not there in that circle still. But I strongly feel that the time is around the corner and I’m going to push the door this year.”
