Afghanistan’s talisman all-rounder Mohammad Nabi will once again play for Kent in the Vitality T20 Blast in the next season. Nabi had represented Kent in 2019 as he had scored 147 runs at a blistering strike rate 153.12.
The off-spinner had also scalped eight wickets for the club and had bowled with an economy rate of 7.22 in the previous season. Nabi is currently the top-ranked all-rounder in the shortest format of the game.

The all-rounder stated that he looking forward to having another good season with Kent in the next edition.
“I very much enjoyed my first season with Kent and I am pleased to be coming back for another year of the Vitality Blast. There’s lots of quality in the team so hopefully, we can do well,” said Nabi.
Meanwhile, Nabi has the experience of playing in big T20 leagues like the Indian Premier League and Big Bash League. Nabi represents Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL and plays for Melbourne Renegades in the BBL.
On the other hand, Paul Downton, who is the Kent Director for Cricket is thrilled to have Nabi on board again.

“To do well in the Blast, you need a number of match-winners, and Nabi showed us what he is capable of last year,” he said.
“His ability to bowl at any stage of the innings and to hit the ball out of the park when he bats make him one of the most exciting players in world cricket. He fitted into our environment really well and to have him with us for the entirety of the South Group in 2020 is a boost to the whole squad.”
Mohammad Nabi will look to continue his good show going in Vitality T20 Blast while playing for Kent. The right-hander from Afghanistan has grown in stature in the recent past.
Nabi has thus far scored 1261 runs in 71 T20Is as he has scored his runs at an impressive strike rate of 147.31. Moreover, he has also snared 69 wickets in as many matches.
