MS Dhoni has given hope to everyone after he was recently seen in the net practice at JSCA ground, Ranchi. On the other hands, the player has made himself unavailable for the next home limited-overs series against West Indies. Now, only one question is in everybody’s mind – what is MS Dhoni’s plan?

He was recently seen playing the Tennis tournament in his home town. The wicketkeeper-batsman also registered the victory in the first match of the tournament with his partner.

Earlier, the former Indian skipper was seen in the dressing room when India played the Test match against South Africa in Ranchi. He was seen sharing his wisdom words with the debutant Shahbaz Nadeem. Ravi Shastri also shared some talks with the player.

MS Dhoni has not played a match after the upsetting semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. He has taken a long break from the cricket. He joined the Indian army to serve the country and then went to vacations. Dhoni enjoyed the holiday in America with his family. After his return from vacations, everyone expected the player to join the Indian team. But Dhoni has different plans.

He made himself unavailable for the recent home limited-overs series against South Africa and Bangladesh. And now, he is not available to play the home series against West Indies.

“He is not available for the West Indies series,” a BCCI official said on Friday.

MS Dhoni is silent on his future of cricket which is increasing the speculation of his retirement. In his break, he has played golf tournament and football matches for charity. Dhoni is also going to make the debut in the Bollywood film alongside Sanjay Dutt. He has tried every other profession. Will he play next year’s T20 World Cup? It is still not answered yet.

His replacement, youngster Rishabh Pant is also struggling to create an impact. He is now and then criticised for every wrong move which has pressurised the youngster. MS Dhoni’s safe hands are still needed for the national team. However, the chief selector MSK Prasad has said that they are moving on from MS Dhoni.
