A big question in Indian cricket has been answered. When will MS Dhoni comeback in the team? The wicketkeeper-batsman has finally given a statement on his future plan.
On Thursday (28th November), in an event of India Today, the 38-year-old was asked about his long break after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. MS Dhoni gave a one-liner answer stating don’t ask him till January.
“January tak mat poocho,” he said.

He has made it clear that he will decide his future in next year which has also increased the hopes of him in the squad of next year’s T20 World Cup.
MS Dhoni unavailable for West Indies series
He has made himself unavailable for the upcoming home limited-overs series against West Indies, starting from 6 December.
Dhoni was last seen playing with Team India in the mega event this year. The player went to vacations with the family after serving for a short period in the Indian army. Since then the player has made himself unavailable for the national team selection.
Recently, he was seen in Ranchi ground practising with the under-23 team. The player was also spotted while playing the tennis tournament in his home-ground.
Indian Team is moving on

The Indian team is preparing for the next year’s big assignment. India is finding a combination which can give them the trophy of T20 World Cup 2020. MS Dhoni’s uncertainty has opened the chance for the youngster Rishabh Pant who has become the priority of the selectors.
Earlier, chief selector MSK Prasad has said that they are moving on from MS Dhoni. Indian Head Coach Ravi Shastri also opined that MS Dhoni’s comeback will depend on his performance in IPL.
So, it is clear that the team management is searching for new options for the wicketkeeper.
