Jasprit Bumrah maintained his quality

In Vizag, he bowled against Rishabh Pant, Mayank Agarwal and Manish Pandey in the nets. It was an optional training session so Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were not present in the net. Bumrah was consistent and unchanged in his action during the session.

The swashbuckling Prithvi Shaw, who has recently made a comeback after serving an eight-month ban for doping case, was also present in Visakhapatanam. He had a practice of catches with fielding coach R Sridhar.

The second ODI will be crucial for the Indian team to retain themselves in the three-match ODI series against West Indies. The visitors have 1-0 lead in the series as they won the first game in Chennai. Kieron Pollard-led team was successful in dominating the team in MA Chidambaram Stadium. They easily chased down the target of 288 runs, with the centuries of Shimron Hetmyer and Shai Hope.
