Dhawan was out of action for a month as he suffered a thigh injury during Delhi’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match against Maharashtra. He missed the West Indies series due to thigh issue but has been recalled for Sri Lanka and Australia series. The Ranji Trophy match will serve as perfect preparation before he joins the national team.

Ishant missed the first two matches to manage his workload. He is a regular in domestic cricket and also led Delhi in 2017/18 season. Since Ishant isn’t a part of the limited-overs team, he will be available for few matches for Delhi.

Dhawan and Saini won’t be available for the Punjab fixture as they will join the national squad for the home series – Team India plays Sri Lanka and Australia in January before flying to New Zealand.
