In the decade ended, the cricket world has seen the rise of many cricket stars. The decade saw many evolutions in the cricket. The cricket legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, AB de Villers, Shoaib Akhtar, Alastair Cook, and many others retired from the cricket. This decade also saw the uprising of cricketers like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Steve Smith, and Kane Williamson.
The ex-Indian cricketer, commentator and also cricket pundit Aakash Chopra selected the best players of this decade who can form the best combination of the decade.
MS Dhoni also in the team
Rohit Sharma has been the consistent opener in every cricket expert’s team. Here also, Aakash Chopra selects Rohit Sharma and Hashim Amla as the opening partners. The ended decade was actually of Rohit Sharma who also got the opportunity to be the opener. While Hashim Amla has retired from International cricketer, but he still plays cricket.

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is the other living legend that is compulsory to mention in this decade. He has been a prolific player in the cricket world which owns many records in batting. Former South African player AB de Villers is also worth mentioning in the ODI team of the decade. He is in the team selected to bat at No.4. Following him, New Zealand player Ross Taylor, who has played 228 ODI matches, has been given at No.5 by Aakash Chopra.

To bat at No.6, MS Dhoni the wicketkeeper-batsman whose contribution is uncountable in the Indian team. He is the one who made a successful decade for the Indian team by giving the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 trophy.
Shakib-Al-Hasan only all-rounder:

The Bangladesh allrounder Shakib Al Hasan has been the backbone for his country this decade. He is a consistent performer. In 206 ODIs played, he has picked 260 wickets and scored 6323 runs.
Jasprit Bumrah also included:

Aakash Chopra has strengthened the pace battery. Lasith Malinga, Mitchell Starc and Jasprit Bumrah are the fast bowlers while Shakib Al Hasan and Imran Tahir are the spinners. But Jasprit Bumrah’s selection in the ODI team is a bit shocking because it has been only three years since he is playing International cricket. However, he is the no.1 ODI bowler in ICC ranking.
Aakash Chopra’s ODI XI of the decade:
Rohit Sharma, Hashim Amla, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Ross Taylor, MS Dhoni, Shakib-Al-Hasan, Lasith Malinga, Mitchell Starc, Jasprit Bumrah and Imran Tahir.
