India’s chinaman Kuldeep Yadav is finding hard to get wickets against the opponents. The batsmen have clearly known his bowling action, and now, all his cards are open. Kuldeep Yadav also agrees that last year was tough and challenging for him.
In the start of his career in the Indian team, Kuldeep Yadav was a new face, and nobody knew his action, so, he could easily take wickets. But as he featured in more and more matches, his game plan disclosed and the batsmen would easily play his balls. His shine to take wickets lessened with the time which gradually led to his ouster from playing XI. Now, Kuldeep Yadav has said that he has analysed his mistake of 2019. With the beginning of the new year, he wants to work on his weakness.
“It (2019) was a tough one. I learned a lot of things and the biggest positive was getting to know that I could have planned things better,” Kuldeep told reporters on the eve of the third and final T20 against Sri Lanka here.
“If I thought more and gave more time to myself, I could have performed better. In 2020, I will try to plan every game better and give myself more time, so I get more time to reflect on my game.

“You play a lot of matches but at the same time, you have to give yourself more time to plan for the next game. I want to be more mentally prepared this year,” the Chinaman elaborated.
Kuldeep Yadav To Work On His Game Plan
To improvise his game, he has planned to take more tips from the video analyst to know the opposition weakness so that he can target them. Kuldeep also wants to spend more time on nets with India’s bowling coach Bharat Arun.

“I will definitely take the help of video analysts and speak to the bowling coach (Bharat Arun) in the nets, where we can figure out the strengths and weaknesses of various batsmen,” he said.
“Now everyone knows how Kuldeep bowls, he is a chinaman, who has wrong-uns, flippers. So, I have to bring changes in my bowling, which the batsmen cannot figure out,” he added.
After the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Kuldeep was in and out from the Indian team. He also recently earned up the call in the T20I team with Yuzvendra Chahal. Against West Indies, in the Visakhapatnam ODI which was the crucial match of that home series, he picked a hat-trick. But he went wicketless in the series-decider game in Cuttack. Whereas, in the recently ended second T20I match, he picked two wickets against Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, he will head to play the third and final T20I match of the series against Sri Lanka in Pune that will be played on 10th January.
