Team India’s limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma is all set to miss the remainder of New Zealand tour as he has been ruled out of three ODIs and two Test matches due to calf injury. BCCI is yet to confirm the news but multiple reports have confirmed that he will return home. Rohit suffered the issue while batting during the fifth T20I on Sunday.
He continued to bat for a while but walked off soon. Rohit also did not come out to field in the second innings, which hinted that he might be ruled out for long.
