Just seven days after completing the gruelling tour of Nw Zealand, Team India will be back in action as Men in Blue host South Africa in a three-match ODI series from March 12. Captain Virat Kohli, who has been on the road since December 2019, is likely to be rested for the ODIs as these matches do not carry much relevance.
Since Rohit Sharma is confirmed to miss the series, Team India is likely to be without their captain and vice-captain. As said, the series does not carry much relevance and there can be a case when the new selection committee might name a new captain for three ODIs.
