Last week, the schedule for the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) was out, driving the fans crazy to see their favourites in the field. Although some overseas players might be missing a part of the tournament which is not something new. There have been past seasons when overseas players join respective teams amid tournament. The absence of crucial players will surely affect the performance of some franchises.
The most affected franchise will be Rajasthan Royals (RR) who have the most number of overseas player in the squad. Their key players will be missing some part of the IPL 2020. While the least affected is Mumbai Indians (MI) as they will lose only one player.

8. Trent Boult – Mumbai Indians:

Mumbai Indians will be playing without the New Zealand pace ace, Trent Boult, at the beginning of the tournament. The speedster will be busy playing the limited-overs series against Australia, which will end on March 29th.
However, he will join MI for the third game. Besides, he will be available for the complete tournament.
MI is the only franchise to miss only one player, unlike others. Also, they won’t be much affected by his absence as the team has already the strong pace battery that includes Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga to name a few.
Ahead of the IPL 2020 auction, Delhi Capitals traded New Zealand pacer, Boult, to Indians. The player has played for DC in 2018 and 2019 season. In 33 matches, he has scalped 38 wickets in the popular T20 tournament.
