The outbreak of the coronavirus has introduced a new trend amid the lockdown. The players are taking up questions from fans through social media and answering them. Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Yousuf, who has played 90 Test and 288 ODIs, is the latest one to take up fan’s questions on Twitter. He was asked to pick up the best captain in the white-ball format.
Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, Eoin Morgan, and Aaron Finch are some modern era captains who have achieved success in the white-ball cricket in the recent past. Indian captain Kohli took the team to the semi-final of the World Cup 2019. He has also given victories to the team in many away series. Under him, the Men in Blue also reached the finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

However, Yousuf has not picked up Virat as his answer. He has chosen New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson as the best captain in the contemporary cricket world.
“Who do u think is a better captain in current white-ball cricket in the world,” the user asked Mohammad Yousuf, who replied with Williamson’s name on Twitter.

Kane Williamson took the team to the finals of ICC World Cup 2019:

Kane Williamson took over the captaincy role in 2016 after Brendon McCullum retired from the game. With his elegance, he took the team forward and also built individual records. In World Cup 2019, he took the team to the nail-biting grand finale against England. The marquee clash went to the super over which was tied and England was announced the winner because of the boundary count rule. Interestingly, now this rule has been scrapped after the World Cup.
Well, the Kiwi skipper has adjudged the player of the tournament. He made two match-winning centuries against South Africa and West Indies and a vital 67 in a famous semi-final win against India. His captaincy and calmness during the whole tournament impressed a lot. Many praised him for his calm attitude after the dissatisfying result of the final.
