England cricketer Adil Rashid, who was the part of England’s World Cup 2019 triumph, has picked World XI. He has selected three of his fellow teammates in the team. The spinner has also drawn comparison and named the better batsman between Babar Azam and Virat Kohli right now.
Pakistan’s young cricketer Babar Azam’s is now and then named with great players like Virat Kohli, Steve Smith and Kane Williamson for his elegant batting performance. He is especially compared with the Indian captain for his cricketing shots.

Adi Rashid also faced difficulty on comparing Babar with Virat. He believes that both the players are world-class, and it is tough to choose who is better. But he opined that after seeing the current form of the duo, he would go with the Pakistani player.
Ahhh… it’s a tough one. Well, it’s a tough one. So you got to go on the current form… I think I got to go for Babar Azam on current form. I am taking form here…I say Babar Azam is in better form so I picked Babar Azam. But they both are world class players anyway,” Adil Rashid said during his interaction with At the Crease TV.
In the last tour against New Zealand, Kohli was not at his best. He registered the worst average of his career in the Test series, scoring 38 runs at an average of 9.50. On the other hand, Babar Azam registered a century in the test match against Bangladesh. Moreover, he had an outstanding PSL 2020, which was suspended before the grand-finale because of the pandemic.
Eoin Morgan to lead the team:
Adil Rashid’s team has Rohit Sharma and David Warner as their opener following which are Virat and Babar at No.3 and No.4 respectively. Eoin Morga, who is placed at No.4, will also captain the World XI. At No.6, the wicketkeeper-batsman Joss Buttler will play. The only allrounder in the team is Rashid’s fellow teammate Ben Stokes.
Talking about the bowling department for the World XI, there are three pacers and one spinner in the team. Australian pacer Mitchell Starc, New Zealand speedster Trent Boult and South African bowler Kagiso Rabada are in the fast bowling department. The veteran Imran Tahir is the in and out a spinner in the team.
