The veteran Yuvraj Singh has displeased some section of the society after passing a derogatory remark during a live chat with Rohit Sharma on Instagram. The netizens are demanding the former Indian cricketer to apologise for promoting castism.

Rohit and Yuvraj had a candid chat during the conversation where they discussed different topics. They also shared how they are spending time during the lockdown where the duo also mentioned how India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is making his family members dance in his Tik-Tok videos. Well, Chahal is not the only cricketer who has been active on the video-content platform. Cricketers like David Warner, Aaron Finch, and Kevin Pietersen upload Tik-Tok videos regularly.

However, coming back to the topic, in the live chat, Yuvraj Singh said a word for Chahal in the video which didn’t go well for him. The sixer king called Chahal a ‘bhangi’ (a casteist remark) referring to the latter’s popular TikTok videos. Although Yuvraj said that word unintentional, it seemed to have not gone down well with the members of a particular caste.

The small clip of the conversation has gone viral on Twitter. And people on the microblogging site are criticising Yuvraj. The hashtag #युवराज_सिंह_माफी_मांगो is trending with more than 25,000 tweets and with users demanding an apology from the legendary batsman.
