Harbhajan Singh, himself, has been a legendary cricketer for team India. He has a plethora of international records to his name that he has garnered over the years in world cricket.
Harbhajan has the second-highest number of Test wickets by an off-spinner, behind Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan. Harbhajan Singh scalped a total of 417 wickets in Test cricket. He is the former captain of IPL team Mumbai Indians and Punjab for the 2012–13 Ranji Trophy season.
When asked about his greatest-ever Indian cricketer, Harbhajan had a very interesting answer as he picked a bowler over a batsman in the duel.

Terming former India captain Anil Kumble the greatest ever to have ever played for India, Harbhajan said the legendary leg-spinner showed the world you can dismiss batsmen regardless of you can spin the ball or not.
“In my view, Anil bhai was the greatest ever who played for India. He’s probably the greatest match-winner India has ever produced. People used to say he didn’t spin the ball, but he showed that if you had the heart, you could get batsmen out regardless of whether the ball spun or not,” Harbhajan told Sportstar.

The spin duo of Harbhajan and Anil Kumble has been the most successful in Indian cricket, and they have been the best spinners for India since the inception of the game in the country. Kumble has been a legend in world cricket and is the third-highest wicket-taker across all formats in international cricket.
Kumble ended his Test career with 619 wickets in his bag, whereas, Harbhajan scalped a total of 417 wickets in Test cricket.
