India’s wicketkeeper-batsman — KL Rahul has been engaged in intensive charitable work during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, to help the people to survive from the crises. And, yet another time, he has come forward to help the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel posted at Bengaluru airport, to help them fight the infectious virus. He has donated the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) hoods to them.

In the recent interaction, KL Rahul has urged everybody should take the responsibility to help others. He said that frontline workers are protecting us day and night so we have to help them. He has donated PPE hoods at the Kempegowda International Airport in the southern metropolis.

“The CISF is protecting us day and night. They are risking their lives so that we can live comfortably.

“It is not only mine but everybody’s responsibility to make them feel safe and comfortable. This is just a small gesture from my end for them,” KL Rahul said.

Earlier, KL Rahul had auctioned his ODI T20 jersey and donating his World Cup cricket kit to helping Thalassemia patients. With a big heart, he always been front to help others and has inspired the youth of the country time and again to care for others.

Meanwhile, the elegant batsman has reached the UAE along with his Kings XI Punjab teammates to prepare ahead of the Indian Premier League.

KL Rahul would be the first time leading the KXIP in the upcoming edition, scheduled to start from 19th September. It would be a 53 days tournament during that period 60 matches will be played. The grand finale of the league will be played on 10th November after which Team India‘s player would tour to Australia to play the much-awaited Test series.

Currently, Rahul would be serving six-day quarantine in the UAE before hitting the grounds for training. He would have to pass a couple of times the COVID-19 test to make him fit to play in the T20 League.
