He brings the best out of each and every teammate: Zaher Khan on Rohit Sharma
Zaheer mentioned the best quality of Rohit Sharma in a Q&A on Twitter saying he brings the best out of his teammates. The Mumbai Indians captain knows how to bolster the confidence of his youngsters and give them the vital playing time to exploit their talents.
A lot of youngsters namely Rahul Chahar, Suryakumar Yadav, and Ishan Kishan and many others have grown under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy in the Mumbai side.
“Well, the list is very long but for me what stands out is the quality which he has having that relaxed aura around him. Yet he is a very intense thinker and a very serious thinker of the game.”
“That really shows when he makes those tactical calls on the field in pressure situations of the match and his teammates also really believe in him. So I think that quality I will put right up to bring out the best out of each and every teammate.”

Zaheer Khan feels Mumbai Indians have the squad to defend the IPL title
The former Indian speedster believes that the MI squad is well balanced to defend their IPL title. Although, the squad developed was by keeping in mind the Indian conditions but they have a generally well-rounded squad to face any challenges abroad too.
“Generally, the preference is given to the home conditions and the squads are selected accordingly. But the squads are generally well-rounded and so is the case with our squad. The MI squad is picked on the basis of covering all angles and the requirements of the conditions. So yes we will have to adapt to the conditions here and adapt quickly but we do have a squad which is all-rounded.” said Zaheer Khan

Rohit Sharma’s innovative captaincy would be decisive for their IPL campaign. The squad is a good blend of experienced and youth players and hence the balance will play a key role in the side. The IPL 2020 will be played in the UAE from September 19 to November 10 at three different venues in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi
