Former Australian and Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Brad Hogg has said that Indian pacers in the RCB’s squad would be their key in the upcoming IPL edition set to begin from 19th September. He said that Australian coach Adam Griffith training would benefit the likes of Mohammad Siraj, Navdeep Saini and Umesh Yadav in the Royals.

Brad Hogg believes that RCB will not rely on any overseas fast bowlers because they already have strong Indian pacers in their camp. He said that Adam Griffith was a fine bowling coach and his training would not only help RCB but building players for Team India.

“Adam Griffith from Australia is a fine bowling coach and it is not just RCB who is benefiting, it is India. Siraj, Saini, Umesh Yadav have got a quality coach and I think this Indian pace attack is going to set the world alight for RCB. They won’t rely on any overseas fast bowlers so that is a big plus for RCB and India,” Brad Hogg said on his YouTube channel.

With AB de Villiers, Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli, RCB has the most lethal batting line up. But Brad Hogg opines that they don’t have depth in their batting order. He explained that if any batting mainstay got injured, RCB was likely to lose that match. He said that the Royals don’t have quality back players to replace key members. Similarly, he opined that they don;

“If they have an injury to one of their three key batsmen Finch, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers then it really puts a lot of holes in their batting. Also if they lose one of their quicks as well, they do not have too much depth in their quick bowling,” Brad Hogg said.

Meanwhile, RCB captain Virat Kohli along with his teammates has started training camp in Dubai.
