Australia’s key pacer Mitchell Starc has said that they need a plan to get the wicket of dangerous England wicketkeeper-batsman, Jos Buttler for the third T20I match and the upcoming ODI series.
Australia’s bowling attack comprising of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Adam Zamp had no answer to Jos Buttler’s attacking batsman. The wicketkeeper-batsman dismantled the visitors with his powerful sixes and boundaries.
While chasing the target of 158 runs, Buttler amassed unbeaten 77 runs off 54 balls, striking six boundaries and two gigantic sixes. His outstanding innings guided the team to win the second T20I match by six wickets and consecutively sealing the three-match series.
We’re going to have to plan against Jos Buttler: Mitchell Starc

After failing to pick the wicket of the Buttler, Mitchell Starc opined that the team management will chalk out a proper plan to pick his wicket in the upcoming matches.
“He’s someone we’re going to have to plan for the third game and obviously the one-dayers as well,” Micthell Star told.
“When you get someone striking the way he has for the last two games, it’s obviously powerful for T20 cricket in such a short format. We’ll have to chat as a group tomorrow,” he added.
In the first T20I match, Jos Buttler gave an excellent start to his side, scoring 44 off 26 balls at the strike rate of 151.72. Usually, he bats in the middle-order, but the regular opener Jason Roy is injured he has been given the place as an opener in the T20I team.

Earlier, Buttler had also cemented his place in the Test after there was doubt of his place because of a string of low scores. In the last Test series against Pakistan, he scored a century and set up a match-winning partnership with Chris Woakes to lead his team to unbelievable victory in the opening match.
Meanwhile, the two teams will play the third T20I match on 8th September in Southampton.
