Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian leg-spinner, reckons that the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have sorted out their issue of death bowling. In quite a few instances, Virat Kohli’s team failed to win due to poor bowling in the last four to five overs. However, as per Yuzvendra Chahal, the presence of Dale Steyn, Umesh Yadav, and Chris Morris has considerably strengthened their bowling attack.
Yuzvendra Chahal, who got engaged last month to YouTuber Dhanashree Verma, also feels that the spinners will play a key part in slow turning wickets in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He has 100 wickets in the IPL from 84 matches after making his debut back in 2013.

Yuzvendra Chahal Says Pace Bowling Attack In Death Overs Sorted Out
Royal Challengers Bangalore who are yet to win the IPL even once despite finishing as runners-up thrice have a balanced pace attack in 2020 spearheaded by South African Dale Steyn. Sri Lankan Isuru Udana is another foreign pacer along with South African Chris Morris. The likes of Indians Mohammad Siraj, Shivam Dube, Umesh Yadav, Navdeep Saini will prove a strong pace attack.
“We have sorted out our bowling in the death overs. We have Dale (Steyn) sir, (Navdeep) Saini, (Chris) Morris and Umesh (Yadav) bhaiya. We are not worried about bowling the last few overs because everyone is ready and on wickets here (in UAE) spinners too can chip in with a couple of overs,” Chahal was quoted as saying in Cricbuzz.

Dale Steyn played in only 2 matches in 2019 where he picked up 4 wickets but he has enough experience with 96 wickets from 92 matches averaging 24.73. He has been often plagued by injuries, but he has expertise in his advantage. Fellow countryman Chris Morris has 69 wickets from 61 matches and can be a helpful ally to Dale Steyn.
Yuzvendra Chahal Praises Spinner Adam Zampa
Apart from pacers, the team has quite a few decent spinners in their ranks, including Washington Sundar, Pawan Negi, Moeen Ali, and Shahbaz Ahmed. Australia’s Adam Zampa has also joined the franchise after Kane Richardson backed out from the tournament to attend his pregnant wife.
“We have Washi (Washington Sundar), Moeen (Ali) and Shahbaz (Ahmed) in the line-up. That’s a good spin bowling attack to tackle the surfaces at the three venues – Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi,” Chahal stated.
Adam Zampa
Yuzvendra Chahal also praised Adam Zampa, who previously played for the Rising Pune Supergiant in the IPL. In fact, the leg-spinner has also gotten the better of Virat Kohli quite a few times. He’s currently playing in the three-match T20I series for Australia against England.
“Zampa is a wonderful leg-spinner who comes with a lot of experience. He has also played in India, and the wickets here are similar to those back home. His arrival has strengthened our attack because he comes fresh from international duty in the T20 format,” Chahal added, praising Zampa.
Adam Zampsa played in only 11 matches but has already picked up 19 wickets averaging a meager 14.63. His best bowling figure is 6/19 which is third-best after Alzarri Joseph and Sohail Tanvir. RCB will be starting their campaign against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Monday, September 21 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
