Chennai Super Kings (CSK) coach Stephen Fleming has stated that they have worked out on their weakness during the six-day break ahead of their fourth match against SunRisers Hyderabad on Friday (October 2) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
CSK has won only one match out of three matches played but they had got the experience of playing in all the three venues. They won their first and season opener match against Mumbai Indians in Abu Dhabi by five wickets.
But they faced consecutive defeats in the next two matches played at Sharjah and Dubai against Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals respectively.
Stephen Flemings, in CSK’s official website, told that it was a good experience for them to play at different grounds at the early stage of the tournament although they found it hard to read conditions.
“It came at a good time because the first three games were in quick succession and all games were on different grounds so you have to appreciate trying to read conditions, for each game being predominantly the first team to play there was tough,” Stephen Fleming said
Talking about the break, Fleming said that they had got some clarity around what they need to bounce back stronger in the 13th edition of the league.
“And also coming off a couple of challenges we had off the field we’ve used this break pretty well, we got some clarity around what we need to do and have practised very well,” Fleming added.

CSK’s two premier cricketer Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh have backed out of the tournament. Their absence in the squad has cost the team in their previous two matches. But Stephen Flemings has assured that they have sorted out all their previous mistakes.
The CSK coach also said that Ambati Rayudu, who was the star of CSK’s first win, and Dwayne Bravo are available for selection as they have recovered from injury.
