Sanjay Bangar, former Indian batting coach, has highly spoken about KL Rahul’s batting after seeing his impressive performance for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
Playing his playing maiden IPL season as captain, KL Rahul registered the highest score by an Indian and highest ever score by a captain in IPL against Royal Challengers Bangalore. He amassed 132 runs off 69 balls and sealed the win for the team. Overall, in four matches, he has scored 239 runs at the strike rate of 148.44.
KL Rahul Is India’s 360: Sanjay Bangar

Former India all-rounder Sanjay Bangar has compared Rahul with AB de Villiers, who is one of the finest T20 batsmen. He even has given the Proteas title of Mr 360 to Rahul, stating that he is India’s 360.
“Everyone calls AB de Villiers Mr 360, I’d like to say KL Rahul is India’s 360,” Sanjay Bangar said on Star Sports.
Mayank Agarwal has grown: Sanjay

Apart from KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal is another cricketer who has starred for KXIP, so far, in the tournament. He has snared 246 runs in four matches at the strike rate of 166.21.
Talking about Agarwal, Sanjay Bangar said that he has matured to take KXIP in the winning position.
“He’s grown as a cricketer. He now believes he can win matches and he has done that He has single-handedly taken KXIP to match-winning positions this year,” Bangar said.
KXIP has played four matches and have won only one match. They are at the number six position in the points table with two points.
