Former Indian Cricketer Suresh Raina, who backed out from Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, is delighted to work for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) youth in the field of sports.
Suresh Raina also meets Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Taking to Twitter, he showed his gratitude toward Manoj Sinha for his support. He also stated that he looking to create opportunities for youngsters in Jammu and Kashmir.

Suresh Raina not playing IPL 2020:

Suresh Raina retired from international cricket with MS Dhoni in August this year. He was set to play Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 after travelling to the UAE. But returned before the league started. Raina cited personal reasons for his ouster but various speculations were made for his backing out.
It was also said that the veteran had pulled out of the tournament after COVID-19 spread in CSK’s came as 13 personnel, including two players, tested positive for the virus. Raina, however, is now busy working for the development of cricket in J&K.
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings is hurting with Suresh Raina’s absence. He has been the leading scorer for the team but his absence in the batting line up has cost them three defeat in a row.
