One of the many English franchises that are set to have a complete overhaul this season, Chelsea have officially confirmed that Italian head coach Antonio Conte will replace Guus Hiddink at Stamford Bridge next season.
Hiddink replaced Jose Mourinho just months after the latter lifted the Premier League trophy with the Blues. The Dutchman was only appointed on an interim basis and it was rumored that Chelsea were close to agreeing on a deal with Conte over the past few weeks.
However, it was officially announced by the club website and also on social media earlier today that the 46-year old will leave the Italian national team at the end of the EURO16 and will manage the Stamford Bridge Outfit next season.
Conte has three successive Serie A titles with Juventus before he moved on to national duty and his reputation has been greeted with a lot of love from the Chelsea fans.
Here is how the fans of the London franchise reacted to the appointment of Antonio Conte:

Conte a good match for Chelsea, on the face of it. Will have to transfer his style to suit the PL, but has bags of relevant experience.

Pleased with Conte appointment. Won’t play attractive football though but that’s no change there #CFC

Imagine Chelsea firing Mourinho, not being content with Guus and appointing Conte. But we’re stuck with LVG.
