As far as the Australia tour is concerned, Virat Kohli will look to lead the team to win in the first Test although his side is inexperienced to play with the pink ball in Australian condition.

Earlier, in the ODI series, the flamboyant batsman overtook Sachin Tendulkar‘s record to become the fastest cricketer to accomplish 12,000 runs in international cricket. He achieved the unique feat in 242 innings while Tendulkar scored as many ODI runs in 300 innings.

The all-important Test series will begin on December 17 in Adelaide. The last three Test matches will be played in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane from December 26-30, January 7-11 and January 15-19.
