This week on Smackdown the No. 1 for Roman Reigns’ WWE Universal Championship Edge and Jey Uso will meet each other in a one-on-one match. This match will determine the special ring enforcer for the WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan this Sunday at Fastlane on pay-per-view. This match can definitely be a huge point of attraction for this week’s Smackdown.
As of it is not cleared who Edge will at WrestleMania 37, but chances and possibilities all lead to only one contender, and that is of course Roman Reigns. After last week Daniel Bryan attacked Edge and knocking him out, they tried to make things unpredictable but there is no doubt Roman Reigns will carry the Universal title to WrestleMania 37.

About the other storylines of Smackdown, Big E vs. Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental championship is a great feud and both athletes are doing really good to make things more and more interesting. Apollo Crews’ recent performances have really attracted everyone. Even the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley praised him in his recent interview with Kinda Fun Sports. As last week Apollo attacked Big E after Big E defeated Sami Zayn. This week the feud will definitely get a boost since they are facing each other at Fastlane.
Currently, Kevin Owens does not have any feud to go on in. But last week on Smackdown he was confronted by Sami Zayn where he asked for Owens’ help. Owens said that he would think about it. We did not see any progress in this, definitely, they are building something involving these two individuals. Maybe they form a tag team again, reuniting Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn would be really amazing to see. Or maybe they start a feud. But we believe if they form a team again that would be more fun to see.
Cesaro and Seth Rollins are having a feud. For the last couple of weeks, these two individuals are not having very pleasant times with each other. It is very likely that they get to face each other in a one-on-one match at Fastlane. There is a chance of Seth Rollins starting a feud Shinsuke Nakamura soon which may conclude at WrestleMania 37. Some of the questions will be answered on this week’s Smackdown surely.
WWE Smackdown Women’s champion Sasha Banks will defend her title against Nia Jax this week. There is no point in Sasha dropping the title to Nia at this stage. We think Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair will face the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions for the Women’s tag team title at Fastlane and the match will be booked on this week’s Smackdown.
Since this is the final show before Fastlane, this will be a very entertaining week of the Friday night show. Some matches will definitely get booked for Fastlane. Hopefully, they will book everything by keeping WrestleMania 37 in mind. We are hoping to see a great episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
