Smackdown after WrestleMania started as Pat McAfee was seen in the commentary table beside Michael Cole since Samoa Joe was released. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns came out to the arena along with Jey Uso and Paul Heyman. Heyman talked about Roman’s WrestleMania victory over Edge and Daniel Bryan.
Roman Added that everyone in was scared of him. Nobody wanted to face him. So it was time to go. They attempted to leave they were interrupted by Cesaro. As Cesaro entered the arena Roman and his team left.

Backstage Cesaro met Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville and he said he was insulted by Roman Reigns. He asked for a match with Roman, where the title was not necessary to be on the line. Sonya said she would talk to Roman about it.
Match 1 – Rey Mysterio defeated Otis
The match was booked for three minutes and there is nothing much to talk about these small matches. Mysterio pinned with a Role Up pin.
Sami Zayn entered the arena where he talked about his WrestleMania match and he blamed Logan Paul for his loss. He said that he would take his revenge on Owens and he called him out. Owens’ music hit and KO came out.
Match 2 – Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn by Count Out
The match must have been booked to keep this feud alive. In seven minutes’ time, Kevin Owens completely dominated Sami Zayn. In the end, Sami intentionally counted himself out. As he was attempting to leave KO attacked him and beat him down.
Street Profits entered the ring as they said that they were in the ring to celebrate Bianca Belair’s title win. They called out Bianca and the Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair came out in the arena. She talked about her WrestleMania victory and thanked the fans. She had an emotional speech and fans loved it.
Match 3 – WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champion Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode defeated the Street Profits
The match was booked for six minutes and it was quite fun. It was booked like a classic face vs. heel style and it was enjoyed by the fans. Dolph Ziggler pinned Montez Ford with the Zig Zag.
Match 4 – Natalya defeated Shayna Baszler
Really weak match. It really feels awkward how WWE stops someone’s push instantly. While Shayna Baszler was completely dominating the Women’s division now she is losing to Natalya in two minutes. This is plain and simply awkward.
Match 5 – Cesaro defeated Jey Uso by DQ
The match was booked for around six minutes and it was going well before Seth Rollins attacked Cesaro and beat him down which led to a DQ finish.
Overall, it was a very weak event. A show after WrestleMania is always fun to watch but this year it was bad. We give it 1.5 stars out of 5. No returns, no debuts, no new feud build-ups, no appearance from Edge and Daniel Bryan, matches were not good enough either.
